One Minute by Simon Stephens
As part of the Arundel Festival, at the Crossbush Pub, Arundel
Robert Evans is new to the police force, and his enthusiasm for his first case is keener than that of his cynical colleague Gary Burroughs.
They're both looking for a missing child.
The mother, Dr Anne Schults, is desperate to know;
when does ‘missing’ become ‘presumed dead’?
One Minute is a disquieting portrait of the many lives that are united in the single moment it takes for a child to disappear.
A beautiful, slow-burning and lyrical play about loss, devotion and consolation.

Pool (no water) by Mark Ravenhill
At the Crossbush Pub, Arundel
A famous artist invites her old, struggling, drug-addled friends to her luxurious new home. For one night only, the group is back together.
But celebrations come to an abrupt end when the host suffers an horrific accident during a late night skinny-dipping lark.
All their bitterness, jealousy and convoluted self-deceptions become apparent and, as the victim lies in a coma, an almost unthinkable plan starts to take shape: could her suffering be their next work of art?
Uncompromising and uncomfortable at times, this visceral and shocking play by acclaimed writer Mark Ravenhill (The Cut, Shopping and F***ing) examines the fragility of friendship and the jealousy and resentment inspired by success.
